Around 300 people including customers, potential customers, Angolan government authorities and journalists visited the site, whose main attractions were two models of trucks – the Volkswagen Delivery 9.170 (air basket) and the Volkswagen Delivery 11.170 4X4 (dry cargo), this the latter is widely used in rural areas of the country by farmers through the Integrated Rural Trade Development Program (PIDCR).

The event offers business opportunities in several areas, especially transportation, food and beverages, machinery and equipment and home and construction. “It was a great moment for us to present our cargo transport solutions to the international market and offer, especially to African countries, options that add to the transport development strategies of different countries” celebrates the director of Grand Lakes, Geraldo Kulaif.

“In 2022, we entered a partnership with the Angolan government to supply 200 units of the Volkswagen Delivery 11.170 4X4 (dry cargo) to farmers in several provinces. Since then, the result is that there has been a great advance in mobility in the countryside, enabling more frequent commercial exchanges and, consequently, greater income in these locations,” adds the executive.
